The gaming industry is depressed about how much money we spend on simple and often independent games via mobile app stores instead of on their multi-million dollar projects. Mobile gaming is growing at a very high pace; and is expected to speed up its growth as tablets and smartphones become even smarter. The advancement of the mobile platforms has opened a new era of simple gaming and video streaming.

Different devices and operating systems are better than others at supporting different kinds of games. There are hundreds of thousand games on the Android Market and Apple’s App Store combined, that are growing as more and more people play their games on mobile devices instead of the regular Windows, MAC or desktop Linux.

Android has lots of games that are usually aimed at smartphones, but some are adapted to work well on tablets also. Such games have been enhanced with a better 3D graphics experience and can be equally enjoyed on larger screens. Here are a few examples.
